Crafting Sweetness

The Carthage International Cake Design Competition at IFSA Africa serves as a vibrant canvas where global pastry artists showcase their exceptional skill

It’s a key highlight of the show, transforming sugar paste and fondant into breathtaking sculptures that tell stories.

A Global Stage for Sweet Innovation

This competition is more than just baking; it is a meticulous fusion of architecture, sculpture, and culinary art, setting a benchmark for excellence in the region. The event brings together diverse cultural perspectives, culminating in an awe-inspiring display of edible creativity.
The focus on innovation encourages participants to push the boundaries of conventional cake design, experimenting with new materials, structural elements, and storytelling through sugar. It’s a true celebration of confectionery advancement.
The IFSA Africa setting makes the Carthage International Chef Cup a prime opportunity for professional growth and networking. Competitors, judges, and industry professionals—including restaurateurs, hospitality leaders, and food suppliers—interact throughout the event.
